The European University of Rome (EUR) hosts a training and networking series of Seminars (both residential and non-residential) on Competition law enforcement in digital markets (DiCo Project – Digital Markets and Competition Policy) devoted and reserved to EU national judges.
The DiCo Project is directed by Valeria Falce (Jean Monnet Chair in the EU Digital Transformation and AI Policy, and Professor of Market Law and Regulation) and co-financed by the European Commission (Directorate General for Competition). It is a two-year project divided into two distinct course editions (Summer 2023 / May 2024).
The overall purpose of the project is to foster a common legal and judicial culture, in order enforce in a coherent, consistent and proportionate fashion EU competition rules in the rapidly evolving digital scenario. This objective will be pursued by sharing national judicial experience and interdisciplinary tools as well as advancing those networking skills within the judicial community that are key to master within the European Union an effective enforcement of competition law.
