Friday 17 May, in the thesis room of the European University of Rome, from 9 A.M. will be held a workshop about the communication service regulation in the Gigabit Society within the partnership of the European University of Rome – InnoLawLab, Innovation Law Laboratory and International Institute of Communications, Italian Chapter.
The seminary, which will be attended by experts, governors and stakeholders, will analyse the most relevant aspects of the new Directive concerning the European electronic communications Code. The Directive has spoken on the regulatory framework so far outlined, introducing significant changes in relation to, among other things, the notion of electronic communication service, the obligation of universal service, the regulation of wholesale only operators, consumers protection, radio spectrum and 5G management.
